Lucinda Doyal

Lucinda Doyal the daughter of Edward T Doyal and Sarah Ann Howard, who have be mentioned in a previous sketch, married William Pennington 31 Dec 1868. William was born in 1841 in Indiana. They couple have set up housekeeping and are counted in the 1870 Census living in Perry, Boone, Indiana.  They have one son Charles F. who was born on in 1870 as he is 8 mos old and the census is counted in August of 1870.
In the 1880 Census the family has removed to Brown Township, Hendricks, Indiana, In the census the household consist of William age 37, Lucinda age 27, Charles F. age 10,  Dora(Dorothy)A. age 7, Worth age 5, Ernest L. age two and Hancock age 3m, born in February.  Also in the household is a Thomas Cassity, a servant.  William is a farmer
In the 1900 Census the household is still in Hendricks county, Indiana.  The household consist of William age 58, Lucinda age 48, Ernest L age 22, Edward age 20, Clarence age 18, Bertha E age 15, Harely age 13. 
The 1910 Census has the family living in Hendricks and the household consists of Willaim age 68,  Lucinda age 58, Delphia age 93 the mother of William Pennington, Dorothy E. age 35, Edward I. age 30, Clarence age 26, Bertha 24, and Harley S age 22.  William is still farming
In the 1920 census William, Lucinda, Edward and Clarence are in the household.   Harley has gotten married to a Ruth E. age 25.;and Harley is counted as the second head of household despite living at he same residence as his parents. Audra their 4mos old daughter is also counted in the household.  Harley is counted as a partner in farming; where as Edward is not employed, and Clarence is listed as a farm laborer.  This is the last Census that both Lucinda and William are counted on as the both pass away and are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery Brownsburg Indiana
