To Apostrophe or To Not Apostrophe That is the Question!!!!

What is a name, is a cemetery with not an apostrophe the same; as one with an apostrophe.  Is better to apostrophe or to never have apostrophe.  Okay pretending to be Shakespeare does not help.  But the project has a question of monumental importance to accomplish.  The slings and arrows of grammar; which as you can tell from our post can be a little iffy.  The sign now at Howards Cemetery is spelled Howards.   The school is called Howard  no "S" needed.  I am leaning toward the traditional Howards spelling; because that is how it has been since the original sign.  My co hort cares more for the stones.  So we contacted the state, to settle the question, guess what; you know you want to say "What", Well Howards, has been spelled every way it could be spelled; Howards, Howard, Howard's and Howards'.  So, is a cemetery spelled four different ways; still a cemetery.  Thank goodness we don't have to worry about run on sentences, or the project would be lost; as you can see by our post.
