Lorinda Rebecca Crane and Pleasant Jasper Lowder

Lorinda R. Crane was born in Indiana Sep of 1862 and passed away in 1914.  She was the daughter of James M Crane and Elizabeth Cox. She is again counted in the 1880 Census living at home with her parents and sisters.
On 12 Feb 1882 in Boone County, Indiana she marries Pleasant Jasper Lowder born 1859 and dies in 1941; he was the son of James and Sarah Lowder.   Lorinda and Jasper set up housekeeping in Indianapolis, Marion County Indiana and are counted in 1910 Census. Jasper's occupation is Motorman.  In the Census they have two children a daughter Nora born in Jul 1883 and a son Adolphus born in Sep 1893.
In the 1910 Census the family is living in Perry Township Boone County. Pleasant Jasper's occupation has changed to farmer.  The household is made up of Pleasant, Lorinda, Nora and Adolphus.  This will be the last Census that Lorinda R. is counted in as she passes in 1914.
In the 1920 Census the household consist of Pleasant Jasper, Nora, Adolphus, and James M. Crane the grandfather of Nora and Adolphus and the father in law of Pleasant Jasper.
In the 1930 Census household consist of Pleasant Jasper, Oliver Lowder, brother of Pleasant Jasper, and Nora.    Nora never marries and passed in 1937.  Pleasant Jasper died in 1941, he shares as tombstone with his wife Lorinda R..  Nora is also buried in Howards Cemetery
