Catherine G. Carter, and aged resident of center township, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Lawler at 12:35 o'clock this morning, She had been ill for four days. Mrs. Carter was born in Shelby county, Kentucky, September 8, 1828, and was therefore at the time of her demise aged eighty-nine years, nine months, and twelve days. She was married in Kentucky to the late Jeremiah Carter, who passed away December 13, 1908. Deceased was a member of the Christian church at Fayette.
The funeral will be held from the residence at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Interment will be at Howard Cemetery.
