Edward T Doyal and Sarah Ann Howard Doyal

Edward T Doyal was born in 20 Dec 1816 in Kentucky and passes 15 Aug 1892. He is the son of Revolutionary Soldier John Dyal.   He is married to Sarah Ann Howard born 17 Oct 1817 and died 20 Dec 1891,  in the 1850 Census and they have a  John Doyal age 2 in the household.  Also counted in the household is a Nicholas Ayles age 14.  Their residence is that of Brown Township, Hendricks County, Indiana.
John list his occupation as farmer in the 1860 Census.  Edward, Sarah and John have been joined in the family by Lucinda age 8 and James B Doyal age 3.  They are all living in Brown Township in Hendricks County.
In the 1870 Census the family grows with the addition of  Susanna age 7 and a baby sister Rebecca age 1.  But Lucinda is not on the census with the family.   Their farm is valued at 1600 dollars and they have 2000 dollars in personal property.
In the 1880 Census the household consist of Edward T. age 66, Sarah A. age 60., John T age 29,  James B. age 22 and Susanna Louisiana age 16.    Rebecca who would only be 9 is not on the census. I have made a note that she could be one of the buried/missing burials in Howards
The 1880 Census is the last Census that both Edward and Sarah are counted on as the both pass with in a year of each other Sarah dying  20 Dec 1891  and Edward passes 15 Aug 1892.  They share a grave marker.  The marker is grey limestone in an obelisk shape.

John T Doyal 15 Jul 1848 dies 1 Feb 1900 and is also buried in Howards.

The Doyal name was found spelled as also Doyle

Note on research   the father of Edward T Doyal was provided by Deron Entler a Doyal Family Genealogist.  He also provided the middle and maiden name as Sarah Ann Howard.  He verified that John W Doyal was the brother of Edward T. Doyal
