Sarah A. Crane was born 1878 and died in 1917; she was the daughter of James M. Crane and Elizabeth Cox. She is counted in the 1880 Census living with her parents and sisters. She is united in marriage to Emory T Green on 20 Oct 1895 in Boone County Indiana.
In the 1900 Census Emory T is age 27, Sarah A. is age 21 and two children daughter Esta age 3 and Frank age 1. Emory(Emery) is a farmer.
In the 1910 Census Emory, Sarah, Esta, and Frank are joined by more children Ora M is age 9, Opal A is age 7, Mina is age 4, Edward is age 2 and Morris E is 10mos. This is the last Census that Sarah A. Crane will be counted in, as she passes in 1917. Emory is a Farmer
In the 1920 Census the household consist of Emory, Edward, Frank, Ora M., Opal A., Mina, Morris E., Ray T. Green age 8 and Harold E. Green age 5; these two boys were born prior to Sarah's death. Emory is a building Carpenter.
In the 1930 Census the household contains Emory, Mina, Edward, Morris E., Ray T., Harold., and a Marion C. Green who is age 6.(Unknown at this time the parents of Marion) Emory is a House Carpenter.
Emory T Green lives on until 1958, and then is buried with his wife in Howards Cemetery where they share a tombstone.
